If public nudity were legalized tomorrow?
and your best friend immediately embraced going clothes free whenever the weather permitted it (in places like Hawaii or Puerto Rico that could mean year-round) while you did not (he/she was apparently always a closet nudist- nobody, including you, knew!), would you still be comfortable being seen in public with them? And not just at the beach, but walking down the block, at a coffee shop, at the bowling alley, at a concert? Would you, also, feel comfortable in introducing them to family or friends of yours that they hadn't yet met, coworkers, too? What if they were of the opposite sex? Would that make things different? Or, alternatively, would you, as the nude one, feel comfortable being around your clothed friend? Personally, I'd love it if nudity were recognized as a basic human right (it's natural, normal, comfortable, functional, etc.); recognizing the fact that even if it ever is some (many or most?) folks will never shed their clothes, I'd also love to see a society where clothes free and clothed could exist side by side on a much larger scale than exists now, where family and friends were comfortable with and supportive of each other's respective takes on what would be, yes, basically full-time nudity Your thoughts/what would you do?
