Is nudism legal in the usa or abroad and or filming of nudist?

Im interested in becoming an nudist but im an bit scared from what ive heard. Im just wondering if its legal to be filmed as an nudist and or if its legal to view documentaries about nudism in the USA or abroad. not sure what else to put cause i dont know much which is why i asked.
